Keith Turner
Temprite owner and operator
Keith is passionate about the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. He has been associated with Temprite for over 35 years. He completed an Advance Trade Certificated Refrigeration Engineering apprenticeship on leaving school. As a member of the Institute for Refrigeration, Heating, and Air Conditioning Engineers (IRHACE) , Keith is also IQP qualified. This means that he can certify air conditioning and ventilation systems for Building Warrant of Fitness purposes. Keith has a keen interest in classic cars, music, mountain biking, and family.
Steve Turner
Temprite owner and operator
Steve has Temprite in his blood, son of Managing Director Keith, Temprite employed him in his early teens. He worked during his school holidays on many small projects. After finishing high school, it was natural to complete his Refrigeration & Air Conditioning apprenticeship which he completed in 2005. Steve has since gained further experience working for the New Zealand distributor of Mitsubishi Electric Air Conditioning/Heat Pumps along with working in the dairy industry, managing the repairs, maintenance, and replacement of milk vats in the Bay of Plenty region for Fonterra Co-operative Group. He is also a member of the IRHACE organisation and IQP Qualified.
After hours Steve likes to spend time with his young family, is a keen fisherman and loves the outdoors, often found mountain biking or running one of many Redwood Forest trails.
